Romanian citizens living in NYC had two places they could vote in the 2024 EU Parliament elections: the Romanian consulate near the UN, or the Sunnyside law offices of Voicu & Nica on Skillman Ave. and 49th St. An official EU pollsite ,sponsored by the Romanian government, was opened there over the weekend. Notices were posted that the pollsite was under surveillance.
